For the account of microteaching, I have:
- Included a timed session plan
- Listed key decisions made and justified them, with reference to prior knowledge
- Described what happened in the session, highlighting any deviation from the plan
- Included images of the object and/or participant outcomes
- Shared and reflected on the feedback received, saying how I will use it
- Reflected briefly on what I took from others’ sessions
Here’s my 500 word reflection on micro teach and include the deck and recording
What I taught: Marketing campaign Campaign for NHM Object

How it went: I felt it went well, from their responses they had really taken in the various secret stories of the museum’s collection and history and engaged in the content. I received positive feedback. I enjoyed the poll with the feedback options int he chat, asking users how they prefer feedback and would use this with students.
What you’d do differently:
learning from me: could have move the example slide earlier, asked them to design 1 poster rather than 3 and speeded up on timing slightly, maybe only a 5 min task
How did it feel for you teaching in front of teachers rather than students:
More pressure to be engaging and use multiple tools
Peer feedback sample:
1.Really appreciated the thoughtful feedback, especially as I wasn’t sure about how I’d done.
2.The objects you shared with us were inspiring and gave us choice.
3.Three designs felt like too many – so I was only able to do one.
Reflection on Feedback:
I’ll reduce the amount of designs in the brief to fit the lesson plan timing more.
Reflection on other presentations: I loved the use of sandbox for timed drawing and using the QR code to link to the resources.
Also enjoyed ones here you had to engage physically with pen and paper.
